Psychospiritual Counseling

What shape waits in the seed of you to grow
and spread its branches against a future sky?
~ David Whyte

Warmed in the sun, nourished by underground springs, buffeted by fierce winds and seared by lightening, we too embody bowing, stretching, breaking, and growing. Gestating and tunneling through darkness… unfurling and reaching towards the light… these are ancient rhythms that pulse within us.

Honoring this metaphorical wisdom, I draw upon my graduate degrees in transpersonal and counseling psychologies to offer an eclectic, holistic approach for collaboratively working with you (or your group) to address:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress Reduction
  • Depression
  • Loss and Grief
  • Relationship Challenges
  • Living with Chronic Illness
  • Preparing for End-of-Life
  • Life Review
  • Integration of Life Transitions & Challenges
  • Wise (S)ageing
  • Discernment & Decision-Making

I will support you in accessing and trusting your strong inner guidance and innate wisdom. We will identify your strengths and how you can source your resilience.

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know your pain.
~ Kahil Gibran

Life’s inevitable pain and challenges inscribe their autographs upon our personal landscapes. The rigor of cracking and breaking open may offer unexpected opportunities for re-evaluation and deep inquiry as the language of the heart becomes audible.

What You’ll Discover In My Healing Basket:

Education…
Easily mastered exercises from the brief therapy fields will be shared, with supportive hand-outs and resources to guide you in follow-through at home. Practical psychoeducation will educate and empower you in making informed choices and changes.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was greater than the risk it took to blossom.
